First Visit

At the first visit to the orthodontist, the patient will be seen by the treatment coordinator for an initial exam and review of their medical and dental history. Dr. Toombs will then examine the patient and discuss preliminary treatment plans. If treatment is recommended at the time of the initial consultation and you choose to proceed, we will take diagnostic records. These records include facial and oral photos, a digital scan of the teeth, and X-rays for developing a personalized treatment plan.

Initial Bonding Appointment

If you have decided to proceed with conventional braces, the initial bonding appointment may last from 45 to 60 minutes. Initial appointments are scheduled to allow enough time to discuss proper care of appliances as well as allow time for patients/parents to ask questions concerning braces care.

Invisalign/Records Scanning Appointment

Allow for about 30 minutes for your 3D intraoral scan, pictures, and X-rays. Within 3-4weeks, we will have your Invisalign trays ready for you to pick up.
